System check

Antivirus scanners like mcafee and bitdefender are known from blocking system command functionality like the one used in Wappler system check.

You can add the Wappler install folder to the exclusions or just use the standard windows defender as antivirus- it is the best and less obtrusive.

Thanks very much, George :+1:t6:

My experience with this issue:

I removed McAfee, been wanting to do that for a long time , but the Wappler system check still wouldn’t work. I already had Nodejs installed, so I went about installing Docker for Desktop on my Windows 10 Home edition. Docker installed but errored out when I tried to start it. The error it gave was: disable the checkbox for Use legacy console (Do this by right clicking on a command prompt > properties > uncheck use legacy console)

After disabling it, Docker started right up with no problems.

Next, I tried Wappler system check. Nodejs was good to go, but Docker was showing not installed. Restarted my laptop and did Wappler system check again. All good to go!
