Could we have the option to show both the Output and Terminal windows side by side rather than only show one or the other by clicking on the tabs?
On a wide screen, there is a lot of blank space and these two windows could easily show their content side by side. But can it be optional within the settings so those with smaller screens can show one or the other as it is now?
To add to this would be nice if the Output and Terminal were also draggable with their own break-away panel... And a nice right click so we can select 'Always on top'...

We were already thinking of some kind of tabbing interface to have multiple terminals ( or docker logs) open, but indeed the output one is most generic and used for deploy/publish logging that is often needed.
I agree most whole heartedly! If I could move the output to a separate monitor so that it was always open that would rule!
Bumping this now the tabs have been added. Having multiple panels open side-by-side would make a big difference. I spend a lot of time switching between Output and Terminal.
This isn't in B17... can it go in B18 please?
Now we're in the RC stage, can I just bump this to make sure it's not overlooked?
