I’d like some advice.
I have several Node.js/Docker sites—created using Wappler—hosted on Hetzner servers, with the domain DNS configured accordingly. They are all visible and manageable via my console.
Now, however, I want to add another site on Hetzner that is automatically billed to the client (using their own Hetzner account), while still managing the server through my console.
I’d like to know if there are any downsides or potential issues, and—most importantly—how I should proceed with both the client and Wappler.
Hi Marzio,
I see no potential issues with adding an additional server under your client’s account, provided that secure access is established via an SSH key. I would advise using a project-specific SSH key in this instance to avoid exposing your default credentials.
Additionally, you may need to import the client’s remote server as a custom server, as the API key associated with your Hetzner account will not be valid for a server hosted in a separate account.
You may also opt to obtain a written confirmation from your client confirming your access to their server and acknowledging their responsibility for any associated charges or support requirements.
