Server Connect UI is getting to be almost totally unusable

On a Mac …

Editing and setting up server connects is getting pretty bad.

  • Set your desired settings
  • Click on OK
  • Save the action (UI then flashes and resets)
  • Open server connect and all changes are gone.

It effects all server action types.

Well if you can recreate this, then restart Wappler in debug mode and recreate it. Then attach the debug log here.

I can create it 99% of the time. Where do I find the log file?

Please restart Wappler with logging, reproduce the problem and attach the debug log. See:

I don’t see any errors Brad.

Maybe just fully restart Wappler or your Mac to be sure and try again.

Also see if it happens only on this specific database query - try others or create new ones

It has been happening increasingly worse since version 5 came out. Computer and Wappler have been restarted hundreds of times.

Happens on all of my projects. Not just on queries … also on setting up insert and update forms.

No Idea why it flashes and resets everything as seen in my video.

maybe it has to do something with storing your projects on oneDrive … it is known to randomly refresh files.

try storing the project in a regular folder

I have projects that are stored in my Documents folder that have the same issue.

is it only the dragging that is not saved? Or do you have other problems?

I’m not sure what you mean by dragging? I don’t drag anything?

Hmmm, you may be on to something. I turned off syncing on One Drive and it seems to be working even for projects that are in my Documents folder.

I will test further but I think you may have steered me in the right direction.
