@George is it possible to create a new custom global UI module as part of the extensibility? Is this available via hjson?

I’ll answer myself. I believe not because the UI is only loading custom ACTION_RULES and not custom MODULE_TYPES.
Is it possible to add this George?
Use case: I’m creating a directus extension and I would like to setup the connection globally.

Yes we have to enable global modules extensions as well.
