Return of Delete Step Button in Beta 7

I've spent 5 years deleting a server action step using the delete button at the top of the display...

I'm finding it hard to cope with it not being there any more!

What is worse it that in the context menu it is next to the duplicate button... and I'm bound to sometimes hit one rather than the other.

Is there any chance the delete button could return to the top of the display?

You can also always press the DEL key…

Of course there are other ways @george...

But that involves moving my fingers away from the typing area of the keyboard and back again, which brings drag and resistance to a process we are trying to make as smooth as possible!

That isn't my point...

I'm requesting the delete button returns.

Is there any reason you removed it?

I've gone to the top for the delete button many times and miss it, too. Can't see why it was removed as there's lots of space where it used to be.

Bump - I thought I'd give it time to see if I got into a new habit but I'm still finding it slower to work without the delete button and can't see any benefit to the extra space without it...

I find myself wanting it back as well.

Glad I'm not the only one who's built reflexes to using the delete button and questioning why it was removed.

The delete key doesn't seem to work on my Mac. Can't delete a server action step using the delete key.

Which button exactly are you referring to? Backspace or delete?

On a Mac laptop, the backspace and delete key are one and the same.

I think this is confusing things - I think the majority of the thread is about the delete button that was in the toolbar at the top of the server actions tree, next to the disable and output buttons (not the use of a keyboard delete/backspace which @TwitchBlade seems to be having difficulty with)

Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to wanting the delete button back in the toolbar like everyone else in my first comment, but then my last post was about what George had said that we could just use the DEL key to remove the step instead of right clicking or using the button in the toolbar that was removed. Perhaps he's referring to the one on a Windows keyboard.
