There are a number of reasons why it's useful to copy expressions: to work on them in an external editor, to use them in other expressions, pages or sites, to save them in a file of snippets (perhaps into Wappler snippets library at some point) etc.
Normally this is a fundamental and essential feature of any software involving code - like Wappler. The introduction of the new Visual Express Builder, in its current, experimental form makes this basic task much more difficult - particularly on the Server Connect side.
Hopefully this feature will be made available again. It was suggested in another thread:
