Hello Norm,
The real error can be seen under XHR, in the response tab when you select the server action there - not in the console itself:
Which tells me there is some difference between the checkbox name/id on the page and what is set in the server action as a POST name. Please check if they are the same.
Also - how do you validate it? Is the validation applied on the POST variable?
Looking again - your checkbox does not have a value, which may be causing this error. Please add some value to it - like for example: 1.
