This app would be a very niche app... maybe I will just focus on a web app that is mobile first which I am currently doing. Thanks

Iām with Ken on this. Having done the App Store thing I have no desire to go that route again.
Unless your app requires a native device feature or you are expecting thousands of users I would stick with a PWA.
