Question about monitoring drag actions in Dev console

From a video check, where i refer to a "blob" the screen capture does not actually capture this but when i try to drag, the cursor turns into a round blurry blob and i cannot drag within the window. The result if i cannot monitor Network events.

Guessing the Dev console hijacks ther events?

anyone know how to get around this?

Maybe just turn off the device/responsive option, which probably simulates a mobile device behavior:
