Publish Manager stuck in git authentication

There has to be a better way. I can’t publish my site. Just made one simple change to a server connect API and now I am stuck on this for half an hour now.

Anyone have any ways to work around it? I’ll buy beer for a workaround.

Not sure why would it even take more than a few seconds, but half an hour? What is the target you are using?

If that is so slow for you, why not just select the file/folder in the files tree and hit upload?

Even longer now … still ‘Fetching changes …’

Because I don’t always know what files Wappler has updated. And it’s easy to miss uploading files when doing lots of work.

I’ve not seen any delays like that in any of my tests.
Maybe @George can take a look here. What is the remote target type you are using?

FTP …

But I think I just solved it. Seems the Git Manager was not authenticating. I closed Wappler, logged into GitHub Remote in the Git Manager and now it seems to be working.

@Teodor, you can close this thread. I got it to work. But I think it’s still a bug with the Git process. It was showing the Git dialog to authorize but was not allowing to click on it. I had to authorize through the Git Manager and then it worked.

will investigate what is going on
