Well it might not be very clear - but the database settings in the target are only one way. So when selected there will be a default “db” connection be created and used. This is usually handy for quick start and new projects.
However if you go through server connect or the database manager and create database connections - those are considered “custom” and won’t change any default.
So this is all by design to improve new workflows and still retain good backwards compatibility.
Thanks George, has a tutorial viewer query that. I do follow your logic as some may create more than one connection via workflow global’s. Planning on adding a small “tips and useful facts” to the start of the series so I will add that info.
