I'm getting this error after pushing changes:
I reset the Git settings:
Then, I clicked on the switch to connect to GitHub. The browser takes me to GitHub, where I login and click accept.
Browser redirects me to Wappler, the username and email fields remain empty. Is this normal?
I keep getting error 500 if I try to push changes.
I'm on Wappler 6.6.1, until now I never had any problem.

Connecting GitHub hasn’t changed for the last years and is still the same.

With Wappler you can connect seamlessly your Wappler project to Github, Gitlab or BitBucket repositories. You can push and pull your local project to the selected remote repository.
Creating a local repository
First you need to setup a local repository .
This is quite an easy task, just open the Git Manager Panel:

And click the Create Repository button:

Select the uncommitted changes and commit them:

Hi George, I know! Been using Wappler and Github for years without any problem. But today I noticed that it was not longer working.
I tried doing locally for the project and global, I keep getting request failed due to error 500 both ways.
Tried reinstalling wappler, same thing, maybe this thing have something to do with the problem?:

I just made a test and all working fine with github, made a commit/pull/push without issues.

Just checked my settings and username and email are also blank. Yet, I was able to successfully commit and push to remote Git without any issues just now.
Perhaps you have a large file in your commit? Github does not like large files. But I have a feeling you run into an issue with Github being down at the time you tried.
Has it resolved itself?

Same issue here. I haven't pushed to remote in about a week. Last week, no problem. This week:
Did you do anything to solve this, or is it a GitHub issue that "works itself out" ?
