Populate dropdown through list

I am trying to create a drop-down element and want to populate its items through a list.
I tried adding the repeat dynamic attribute but is of no use(it is displaying the entire row as 1 item.
Thanks.

PS: please note I am trying to use a dropdown element not a select element.

It’s easier if you post the HTML code of that repeat section, it’s likely to be an easy fix modifying your existing code

A simple example of a repeat applied to a dropdown button:

you can adjust it per your needs, with your repeat expressions.
