Wappler version: 6.8. stable
Hi all,
I'm busy now wrestling with the pretty good PDF creator, so far its been outputting some very simple layouts with reliability.
I'm running into an issue though, I'm trying to created an AI driven CV/resume enhancer - work flow is as follows:
- user pastes existing cv (from a word or PDF doc) into a text field, then clicks a button to submit to AI, which has been trained according to the users profile.
- Results are shown in a Summernote Lite text field so the user can update/edit the AI produced content at will until they get it how they like. This could include changing font face, colours, headings etc
- User then has a 'preview PDF' and 'DownloadPDF' buttons at the end of the editor.
All of the above works as it should, the AI stuff is scarily accurate, the layout in Summernote looks great etc. However, my issue is with the PDF process, the preview document (which is identical to the downloaded version) looks nothing like whats on the Summernote Lite textarea - it looks like Wappler PDF creator is stripping out a fair amount of formatting.
I see the 'PDF Style' option, and have included it in the page but cant see any way to tie that into the Summernote output.
Has anyone else out there created something that allows front end users input to edit their own stuff then pass it on to PDF creator? If so, whats the best approach for getting the final result to match what the users sees in Summernote Lite?
