OpenAI Just Released Two Open LLM's

Been a lot of speculation over the past couple of weeks about OpenAI releasing open Models and they finally published them. There are two to select from.

First being a 20 billion parameter Model and the second a 120 billion parameter Model.

These are open and free to use on your own hardware!

You can read about the Models here on the OpenAI website or alternatively read about them on Hugging Face:

Both have been released under the Apache 2.0 license.

Quite shocked to be honest...

Ikr! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it either. It’s awesome to have an LLM from Openai under the Apache license. I’m going to try out the 20B model this afternoon, let’s see what this new offline baby can do.
