I downloaded an older website done in DMX extensions on Dreamweaver. I can open queries, etc from the server connect. When I click on the connections step, I get the following error. I have confirmed that the connection file in question exists and it does connect to the mysql db. But this step does not work. Any suggestions on editing a file to see it?
I’m not sure if this is what you mean but you can just open the connection file in a text editor to see the settings. I think Dreamweaver creates other files when you create a connection, but they’re not needed.
Thanks, but I need Wappler to be able to open the connection step I created. Currently I get that error when clicking on this button:

I thought I had probably misunderstood. I thought the connection file was created in DW (in which case it wouldn’t work in Wappler). Could this be a typo issue (ie ‘masterfull.php’ and ‘masterful.php’)?
Wish it was. The client bought the domain with the incorrect double ‘l’ with the business and decided to keep it that way
Also tried creating a new action file but get the same error.
Very strange. Assuming the connection can be found where you expect - eg https://website.com/dmxConnect/modules/Connections/masterfull.php - it sounds as if it’s some path or htaccess issue perhaps.
I think there is just changes to the code base and how things are done now. Busy with a new version of the site and will fix it there then. Thanks @TomD
