Not possible to insert dynamic values in design view via inline text edit

Operating System : OSX 10.15.7

Expected behavior

It should be possible to insert dynamic values in page.

Actual behavior

Not possible to insert values via GUI

How to reproduce

In my case I want to insert a username from DB into page. When using the GUI it will not insert,

I’m experiencing the same issues aswell.

It’s been reported in another thread already as well. Don’t awesome icons can’t be inserted either.
