Non Bootstrap Designs?

My subscription expired many moons ago because i simply could not get on with the limitations with the fairly antiquated bootstrap.
I use primarily CSS Grid for the basis of all my design work and bootstrap has a grid but light and flexible it is not, lets not get into the div-itus issue!

I am a big fan of what has been happening with Wappler, it is amazing and it would 100% be my tool of choice if i could use my own CSS or at least have some design flexibility.

The design aspect of Wappler is its biggest issue moving forward i think.

I am not looking for Tailwind or some other pre-formatted code bloat, just the flexibility to load my own efficient designs/layouts that i can then apply wappler logic to.

I wondered if there was yet any ability to do this in the latest version or coming soon?

You can full use your own css in Wappler and even use the design and styles panel to edit it.

Everything should be all displayed well and editable visually in design view.

In app structure you will just see the core app connect components and their properties and not bootstrap of course as you don’t use it.

But still you should be able to edit and design. As you would like.

Are there any specific issues you refer to?

We use a mixture according to which one of our sites we are working on - As most of our stuff is database driven my personal preference is Boostrap all the way but we have two or three sites where we don’t use it. We use Wappler on these non-bootstrap sites with no issues at all.

Are you running the latest version of Wappler…?
