We have the "How To" category that is very specific and oriented to a specific workaround solution.
I would really like to have a category "Tips & Tricks".
It will be there for various techniques on AppConnect, ServerConnect and even mixed procedures...
There we could post successful/effective ways of doing/handling tasks so all the others could have a brief and to the point idea and choose what is appropriate for their needs.
I think that "how to" is good for what I have seen in here to usually the users pick it...
I mean if I have a problem how to do "problem A" or "the other problem" I post under "how to".
(I have forgotten to declare something and getting an issue, I'm refering to a appconnect variable inside a js function and there is an error and things like that)
If somebody have a certain technique on anything could be posted under "Tips & Tricks"
I mean about a javascript counter, a ncustom html element and anything else (I'm on mobile and difficult to share examples now...)
The way I see it the "how to" means "I NEEF HELP ON THIS PROBLEM/TASK"...
But the "Tips & Tricks" means "I HAVE THIS WORKING NICE SMOOTH, try itif you need something similar"
If I'm wrong I or You can delete my topic. .. No need for invalid/mistaken references
This was only after a previous discussion and Ambassadors like me or moderators move the topic's category - untrained users don't instinctively select the "How To" category, it should be renamed to "Help" or something.
Once you move enough topics for a given user, the user usually learns to post the topic in the correct category
