Mouse type preference

After Antony requested we vacate his thread I selected to start one here:

Yes @TomD. Its a great mouse but has taken a little getting used to after using the trackball for so long. Trackballs are still my favorite though.

I also have a physical reason I cannot use a mouse.

On my Macbook Pro I use the trackpad and on my desktop (when I had one) I used a Wacom Drawing Tablet. The Drawing Tablet takes some getting used to especially with multiple monitors but once you get used to it, it is very natural.

I had thought of trying this and would love to have the spare funds to purchase a quality tablet. We used to have a gallery specialising in graffiti/street art and one of the writers used a tablet to transfer sketches in to Illustrator for T-Shirt and clothing designs. Unfortunately I never owned the tablet so when we shut the gallery down I lost access to the hardware. Might have to chat to the accountant and see if we can write one off to expenses!

Created on a tablet:

Some other photos (nothing to do with mice though):

Oh and a larger version of my profile picture, up to no good (realised after painting this that we were 20m away from the local police station):

Thanks @Dave. Probably a good idea to create a new thread. Wappler will probably always require a lot of mousework, so it’s an important topic.

Hi I type a lot but since Wappler has a graphical interface I also use the mouse a lot. Near my house there is an official Logitech store that I have as a client and recently, for the holidays they gave me the Loguitech Mx Master 3 mouse, a USB C and a mouse pad. My experience so far has been very good, it is very comfortable, precise and robust. It has a USB-C port and I can assign functions to the buttons depending on the application where it is, so for example if I am in Wappler the wheel button when pressed saves the project it is in. I recommend it.
