Modify default Browser in "Open in Browser"

I’d like everytime I use Wappler to open my Chrome Browser while developing.

But my computer preferred Browser is not Chrome and I don’t want to use the same browser for all tasks

Is there a program line of preferences in my Wappler installation where I can directly specify that the Wappler Browser icon always opens my Chrome Browser even if it is not running at the moment?

Wappler uses your system default browser. If you want to open sites in Chrome, set it as default.

Thank you, Teodor, for getting back to me on that question.

So I’ll have to create a Wappler-centric Desktop on my Mac so that my default browser can be Chrome – only when working on App Development.

Hi @NewMedia, I am not able to recreate your issue.

I am on a Mac as well. I have Safari set as my default browser. When I open either a server action or a page using the open in browser option, it opens up in Safari as expected.

I do not know if it makes a difference or not, but are you developing a website or a mobile application?

Also, have you double checked to make sure that chrome is not set as your default browser?

Hi Scott, thanks for checking on this.

But here's what I wrote in the first two lines of my post --

I’d like everytime I use Wappler to open my Chrome Browser while developing.

I have my Default Firefox browser assigned to too many other things.

When I try to go directly to the Wappler community from here --

It opens my Firefox browser because it is the Default browser.
I want this link to open Chrome, instead.

Since Teodor says I can't assign a specific browser App on my Mac to open anything but the default browser I am going to try setting up a new Desktop and see if the new Desktop will allow me to set a Chrome browser as the Default.
