Hello, I am trying to hide my modal and only display it when the person is not connected, however the black background remains displayed despite I hide the modal, how do I do this?
The backdrop (black background) is part of the modal widget, meaning that when the modal is shown, the backdrop is also shown. The reverse is true when the modal is hidden.
If this is not the case, as you have indicated, then there is something wrong with the code.
For us to help you with this, you would need to make us privy to the code. The best way is to upload the site to a (temporary) location, such as Github and supplying the URL.
