Medium Editor Region - Not setting Value

Expected behavior

What do you think should happen?

Medium Editor Region is not setting value. I saw a fix was posted, I upgraded to 6.5.1 and its still not setting value. I also removed all entries to medium editor and reapplied. Still nothing.

Actual behavior

What actually happens?

No value is set, checked for errors and console log and no problems
