Mac Find and Replace Shortcut Keys

I have not used the Find shortcut key in a while, but had need to find something specific today and could not get the shortcut key to work.

I am on a Mac and was in Code View and did cmd+F but there was no pop-up in the upper right hand corner like that has been in the past.

I tested cmd+F in Microsoft Word and it displayed the find pop-up as expected.

cmd+c, cmd+v, cmd+s all work as expected.

I hope I am not going crazy.

Hi Scott, I tried in PHP and Node projects and it comes up fine for me using CMD+f?

I'm also on a Mac.

Hey @brad,

Thanks for checking. The screen shot you shared does not appear to match my version of Wappler. Do you mind if I ask which version you are on?

The breadcrumb trail at the top (App dashboard > Container >) does not appear on my nodejs page.

I have this in that section.

I can not remember if Find and Replace was ever in the menu bar, but it is not there either.

My screenshot is a bit different because I am in Split View, you are in Code View.

I'm using Wappler 7 Beta 18.

Just click any where inside your code (or select some code) and hit cmd+f. Maybe try resetting panel sizes in the Wappler settings? Maybe it is just hidden?

Find and Replace was never in the Edit Menu. There is a panel for it.

Ok, that's what it was. I did not have any text selected within the code view. Once I selected some text and did cmd+F, it appeared as I was expecting. I don't remember needing to select text to be able to use Find/Replace before, but that's easy to remember.

I knew it had be something simple. Thanks so much Brad!
