Mac: Black screen after the Query Builder when Wappler is in full screen mode

Wappler Version : 6.0.1 (also in 6.0.0)
Operating System : MacOS
Server Model: Node.JS (i don’t know others)
Database Type: Managed MySQL
Hosting Type: docker / Digital Ocean

In Wappler, when you access the Query Builder, it appears as a full-monitor, and when you’re done (by clicking “Exit” or “Save”), the entire screen turns completely black.

Only thing to do is to kill Wappler and restart it… any suggestion ?

It seems it is happening only when wappler is full screen, If I use wappler not in full screen, seems working properly

Do you mean this happens only when Wappler main window is in full screen or when the query dialog is in full screen? Or both?

I can confirm this.

  • Run Wappler in Full Screen Mode
  • Open a API Action such as a Query
  • Edit Query (Opens dialogue in full screen)
  • Save or click OK (Screen goes black)
  • Exit Wappler from dock and reopen to continue.

Found the problem - it is MacOS specific and indeed only happens when the main window is in full screen mode.

It seems to be a bug in Electron and we have reported it:

Will see if we can find a solution for the next update.
