Lets Encrypt SSL not working on 'www.example.com' only on 'example.com' domain

Hey All,

Not sure if its my issue, or something with all Traefik/Docker Machine targets or just the Lindode/Traefik combo.

The SSL is only working when using the short domain like above, ‘https://example.com’. If I try to use the full domain like ‘https://www.example.com’ it has an SSL error and won’t load.

Research shows me that its just a domain mismatch on the SSL certificates and that both the www and short version need to be added. Something about adding a SAN (Subject Alternative Name)

Being that it was all issued automatically by Wappler, not sure where to look to fix this. Any ideas?

NodeJS project, deployed with docker machine to Linode with Traefik, SSL and Portainer.

Oddly, the SSL is now working (although the site when loaded at www is showing 404 error)

The SSL on the www domain was issued at some point today… not sure why when the SSL on the short domain was issued a few days ago…

Well it usually takes a few minutes to issue the certificate and also browser caches old settings, so you should always refresh with ctrl+f5 or clear cache

Yes, but it was days apart…never mind. The SSL is working…I’m just trouble shooting other issues. Thanks though
