Is PHP a good option for a static site?

Good morning,

I have a question. I download a bootstrap template and I customize it. Now I would like to deploy but I don’t understand If It is better to use a php server o nodejs.

Usually the hosting I use is in php and then I would like to continue to use it. The website It is very simple and the unique action to implement is a form contact with send a mail.

Then my question is:
What do you suggest to use? PHP or nodejs?

I remain open any suggestions.

Based on what you’ve said, I would stick with PHP.

if on shared hosting (* keeping cost down)… and no need for real-time data… stick to php… quick and easy with includes…

But if you are the adventurous type, go Node!

I think to deploy on Shared hosting for keeping cost down. In a second time I’ll try to be more more adventurous :slight_smile:
