Invalid target configuration error. Unable to connect to target

I’m a new user. I’m unable to connect to my server DB - getting the "Invalid target Configuration! " error. I’ve read another post on the issue, where the error was generated due to the FTP target being a folder within the public_html directory. That’s not my issue. My FTP target is /public_html. I am able to connect using my credentials with an FTP client.

My question, in Wappler Database Connection, am I to use my FTP credentials or the DB credentials? I’m not able to connect either way. But, it would be good to know I’m using the correct credentials as I attempt to connect.

Hey Rob!

The db connection action uses your database connection credentials. But the error you are receiving has to do with the target so you’ll have to get that squared first. The target will use the ftp credentials.

Thank you! Newb error! I had not properly setup my FTP target.

I seem to now be good-to-go!
