Is there a way to designate the Wappler installation to an alternate drive? Why does it force the install to the C: drive in Windows? I prefer all my installations and sites to be on my D: drive.
Hi Jeff,
Welcome to Wappler! Great to see new users joining our Wappler Community.
We use the great feedback of the Wappler community to build and continuously improved Wappler.
As for the installation drive, we use the current user folder data location, to be able to install Wappler without the need to bother the user for admin rights.
So that is why this location is chosen. Google Chrome works the same way btw.
In addition to George's reply - your sites can be located on any drive, as you setup them. There is no any requirement for the sites to be on the same location where your Wappler installation is.
Totally understand, but with an SSD drive for my C: drive, I normally prefer all my programs on my data drive when possible. I will make sure to put my sites on the data and it will be less of an issue for sure. Thanks for the feedback.
