The Add Action has a small + icon. Pressing the + key appears to do nothing. Is this a shortcut key?

It is indeed a shortcut key to show the action dialog directly without calling the context menu by pressing the plus key.
Doesn’t it work on some occasions?
Nothing at all. Not even once. Tried with the key that has + and = next to the Backspace and the + in the numeric key pad.

This key works for me - at least on Windows 11 Pro.
Maybe it depends on where your current focus is? Where have you clicked last and does it matter if you click the server actions tree first?
The + in the numeric key pad works, but not the key next to the Backspace.
