I’m a bit confused about the How To category. Many people use it for questions and problems they have.
However, according to the description of this category, it is about sharing knowledge, posting tricks and showing how things can be achieved. But then again, why is there a “Problem solved” checkbox like in the Bugs category?
Well - it all starts with a question indeed. So that is why the HowTo category and eventually mark the right answer as solution - so new users can find it.
But I agree if you are posting ready to go solutions directly, it can be confusing as you can’t mark them as solutions.
Eventually the HowTo’s should evaluate to the how to guides in the docs.
So for the better and complete guides that you are willing to post - maybe post straight there:
