How to add an Aileron-Regular.otf Font to Wappler

I would like to make the Aileron font set available to Wappler and access it via the Theme manager. I have moved all of the .otf files to the /dmxconnect/font/ folder. Unfortunately, they are not displayed under Wappler’s local fonts in the theme manager. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

You can’t add custom fonts to the Theme Manager. You can just include your font on your pages and use it in your custom CSS file for the elements you need it for.

Thanks Teodor.

I had already done that for the site I was working on. Starting another one and thought I would check if there is an easier way. I pulled mine from Adobe. If I park the fonts on my local and remote server, is there a command line I could enter to call them locally? Or, should I try just modifying the link to point to the font directory? What would you suggest? I’m a novice I apologize in advance. Thanks.

Hey Bruce, I’m not sure what you need a command line for - but I hope this is helpful:

At some point they give you embed code that you can put in the of your site (using code view).

AFAIK it tends to be better to load fonts from a CDN for performance.
But I might be wrong on that.

If you do want to load them locally, you can indeed put them in a folder and reference them. This guide might help with that (scroll down a bit) https://www.pagecloud.com/blog/how-to-add-custom-fonts-to-any-website

Thank you very much, Karh.

You’re welcome! Hope it helps
