How Do I Move A Project To Be on a Different Hard Drive?

I have a Wappler project I’m working on which is on my C: drive. I want to move it to be on my D: drive.

How do I do that?

I’m using 3.9.7…

Best wishes,
Antony.

Just move the project on the new drive and then “Open existing project”.

  1. Remove the project in Wappler.
  2. Quite Wappler.
  3. Move the folder.
  4. Open Wappler and select “open existing project” option.

P.S. Update your Wappler to 4.0.5. Its risk worth taking.

So this option here?

existing_project

Yes, after you move the files.

@sid, Do I need to have deleted or renamed the original folder before re-opening Wappler?

(Since you can’t move a folder between drives on Windows, you can only copy it…)

Okay, well I’ve managed to do it… I quit and restarted Wappler, and also renamed the old project folder… not sure which one was the solution but I’m on the new drive now.

Thanks for your helps folks!

Nope.

What?? You can. Cut and paste.
