Help with npm error after fresh install

Wappler General Need Help

I have just factory reset my trusty old Microsoft Surface tablet ready to take on holiday.

Installed wappler 7 beta 15 (only) and docker and set up a test node app to check config.

When I try to check node I get this message saying npm not recognised.

Any ideas what is wrong

when using Wappler Local server - then Wappler uses its own build-in node. So external node is not installed or found.

Also packages doesn't need to be installed - are you trying to install some?

No,not at this time,was just checking everything was set up correctly and noticed this.
If thats normal then all ok thanks.

for info, updated my main dev machine to 7 beta 15 and get a different output when clicking install node packages using local server.

so i reinstalled W7 Beta 15 on Surface and now it reports the same.

I did wonder why it reported "npm not recognised"
Looks like an corrupt install issue.
