Having Problems With Login: Formatter

This is the error message in the folder of the login:

[06-Dec-2019 13:58:37 America/Denver] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare lib\core\formatter_md5() (previously declared in /home/blaxstud/public_html/gmadmin/dmxConnectLib/lib/formatters/crypto.php:5) in /home/blaxstud/public_html/gmadmin/dmxConnectLib/lib/formatters/crypto 2.php on line 7

The login was working fine for about a year. Yesterday, when the login failed to respond, I found the error above in the folder where the login page exists.

Should I just delete the security login steps and start over? Or is there another remedy?

Thanks!

You have the crypto formatter 2 times in the formatters folder, delete the dmxConnectLib/lib/formatters/crypto 2.php file.

Thanks Patrick! It appears that there are several other files that have duplicates. Should I delete them all?

Yes, it would be safe to delete them. The files in the formatters folder are the important ones since the whole folder is being dynamically loaded and will cause the above errors if there are duplicate files.

After deleting them, unfortunately, I’m still getting the error after login on the redirect page, i.e., logged.php.

Fatal error : Cannot redeclare lib\core\formatter_md5() (previously declared in /home/blaxstud/public_html/gmadmin/dmxConnectLib/lib/formatters/crypto.php:5) in /home/blaxstud/public_html/gmadmin/dmxConnectLib/lib/formatters/crypto 2.php on line 7

I tried pressing the Return and on reload of the redirect screen, it displays the page. So there must be something between the actions.

After repeating these steps – logging in and logging out – the weird thing started behaving as it is supposed to!

Maybe a stupid question, but did you also remove the file on the server?

On all filename.*2, yes, I deleted both locally and server side.
