I am a developer from the US and am on my last nerve with Dreamweaver. So here I am, looking at alternatives. I don’t build traditional websites, but do use HTML / CSS / JS / PHP / MySQL to create interactive exhibits for the museum community. I have relied on the WebAssist extensions to help with the CMS build for the clients (very basic stuff – insert / update / results / delete). We deploy on Windows PCs and BrightSigns (HTML). The nodeJS looks promising as the BrightSign OS supports that platform. I have not worked with it yet, so am excited to learn more.
Thanks for having me as I kick the tires / tyres on Wappler to evaluate whether its appropriate for my development purposes!
Welcome Monica, like you, so many of us here came from the Dreamweaver world and found a permanent home. Don't be afraid to ask even the simplest of questions. This is a very friendly and helpful community.
Imagine Dreamweaver, redesigned, up to date, stuffed full of top class extensions, cloud support and node.js platform added.
Add a sprinkling of a great forum with large numbers of ex Dreamweaver users who are always there to help you.
Welcome @monica.dds Been using Wappler over a year now. Was on Dreamweaver for many years. Feel your pain. Wappler is awesome. You will get used to it after a few sites. Wappler has a great community.
