Has it ever crossed your minds @George? I am just curious. It’s not even a request or idea.

Fork VSC, add DOM access to extensions, spend XX months working on a new paradigm and piss off a lot of current users but welcome a lot of new users in the process.

Users then:

  1. Go to Wappler.io
  2. SSO with github
  3. Give access to remote repo to Wappler github app.
  4. Launch and build workspace with Wappler’s private extensions for UI, AC and SC.
  5. Code anywhere, preview.
  6. Deploy

I’ve been using gitpod from time to time to deploy hot fixes and preview them on the browser if I don’t have Wappler near(i.e. from my ipad). I can see how useful this approach is.

It has crossed my mind :slight_smile:

A lot more core components has to get web versions from this to happen, but with recent developments in webassembly and remote git workplaces, there will s light on the horizon.

Actually no need for numbers. You are now a SaaS with CI/CD so just Wappler.

Check these guys from blink.sh. They just released a new version of their iOS app with support for VSCode. Support for iOS software and hardware keyboards. And it integrates with gitpod and other cloud VScode's
