Open AI are having unsteady bowel movements since the launch of Gemini 3 and I just noticed that they are offering their Plus Plan FREE for a month... Now you'll probably have to enter a credit card number, no doubt, but just remove your payment method a day before its due (or if you can generate a virtual card in your banking application you can set its expiry to the day before)...

Well, confirmed, the FREE (for a month from sign-up) Plus subscription gives you default access to GPT-5.2 if you're interested to know.
You DO have to enter your card details but you can cancel at any time.
Is it really worth it? The free Chat GPT usually gives me any answers and advice I need?
The age old question. For some maybe, for me I just wanted to have a look. I've already deleted my account. It does not feel anything different to GPT-5 and still feels so far behind Anthropic and Google. They all go on about benchmarks but if the tool don't do the job I'm going to return it to the shop.
Thanks for sharing! I checked for this in the US and didn’t see it. I have been curious about ChatGPT’s custom agents, but I haven’t been curious enough to subscribe.

To be honest we found GPT-5.2 to be a bit meh... Nothing special. Still far behind Claude and so far behind Opus and Gemini it is ridiculous. Just don't know what Open AI can do to catch up as Anthropic and Google in the 'dev' space are leading by miles. If I can relate GPT 5.2 to anything I'd say it just about matches Deepseek 3.2 (with Deepseek being the better option).
I'm via VPN to the UK so also available (or was) in the UK too...
