Forum/Community Interface Colours Make Posts Unreadable in Chrome

Hey everyone…

I’m a bit confused about the theme colours in the forum here… I can barely read any of the posts!

So when I open a post it has a red/brown background with light grey text. The background then immediately fades to white, making the text almost unreadable as shown below. I don’t have an option to change the theme colour in my profile.

I’m using Chrome under Windows 10.

I’ve just noticed it is readable in Firefox… is this a known bug with Chrome?

Does someone have a solution to this?

Would it also be possible to allow the theme to be changed? I’m not a big fan of the black background…

Best wishes,
Antony.

What theme do you have under discourse preferences?

Try cleaning your browser cache and make sure you have the dark theme selected in your user preferences here in the forum.

I use Firefox most of the time but haven’t noticed a problem with Chrome. I don’t see the pale grey text. I’m using Windows 10 too:

btw maybe you have some Chrome extensions running that override the styles, try to disable those

I have had the same experience prior to hitting CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and

we had a big forum update on Tuesday, so some old assets might got cached. Refreshing the cache should solve it all.
