There are two kind of wapplers.
Those that use the Page Manager and those that use the File Browser. I’m the latter and I suspect a lot of people are too.
Two improvements for the file browser
Wouldn’t you like to pin for easy access certain files that you constantly access so you don’t have to navigate through the folder tree?
Add a direct access to tabs from the browser. It may help people with tab nightmares.
This would certainly be useful. However, I would find it equally, or perhaps more useful, to be able to sort files by modification date. Typically, the files I want to access quickly are the files I've most recently modified.
I mention this partly because it's related to your first suggestion, but also because I imagine it might be easier to implement. I don't use the Pages tab either, but it has some potentially useful features: searching within a folder and sorting by name or date. As far as I know, the sorting has never worked but obviously the intention was for it to work. If this could be fixed - and added as an option on the Files tab too - that would be a great improvement. (Pinning and sorting would be even better.)
