i have an update form which has two file upload input fields. I have two file uploads in my server connect file which assigns the files to different directories on upload. i have conditionals to update the fields if a file is chosen. The fields get updated with the right names, but the files never get uploaded. Am I trying something which isn’t doable?
No, that is totally doable. perhaps you should run through @ben 's brilliant video tutorials on creating image galleries which cover every aspect of image management including some amazing extras you probably didn’t know could be done. 22 separate videos covering everything you could possible want.

But in summary the server connect process is simply:
File Upload (found in File Management)
Then
Optional resize, crop etc with image processor options
then Save image with the path pointed to where you want it
The process and save can be repeated for different sizes of the same image.
thanks, i got it to work. I love the galleries you pointed out and will be looking at those soon. I’m still learning the basics but moving fast!
