File set to save a jpg not saving as jpg but keeping png file type and extension

I have a multi file field uploading images. I resize/crop and save them. Some are png format and my save settings are set to jpg.

File still saves as original format in cases upload format is png:

Am I missing something?

You can use {name}.jpg as template.
