I hope you're doing well. I’d like to request a feature that would significantly improve workflow efficiency when working across different types of projects.
Currently, the split view (design/code) setting is global. However, depending on the project type—whether it’s a web project or a mobile app—we often require different split view orientations for better visibility and control.
- For web projects, we typically work with larger screen sizes (above
md), and a horizontal split (top/bottom) is more effective for design and code visibility. - For mobile app projects, we primarily work with
smorxsscreen sizes, where a vertical split (left/right) offers better usability and control.
It would be extremely helpful if the split view orientation could be saved per project, so we don't need to manually change it each time we switch between different project types. This small change would streamline our workflow and reduce friction during development.
