Would it be possible to also provide documentation tailored specifically for Docker-based setups? I believe this would help many Docker users when developing custom AC extensions.

Yes will do that as well. Although when node_modules get exposed in docker projects then there will be no need of the copy files script, so it should work all much more out of the box.

No, it will work with or without the copy script. The script won't break anything
