Hey everyone… is there a quick way to do an “Expand All Children” in the App Structure?
So if I have Section-Row-Col-Text then I can I just click on the Section and expand out the Row-Col-Text parts in one click or keystroke?

not that I know of. But it would be a great feature to add.

I usually click on the component in the design view which expands from the child all the way up to parent. I agree that having an expand all children down from the parent in app structure would be nice!
Hey @dserber, yes, I agree that does work well…
… but with modals and other content that may be hidden, the “expand all children” option would be great…
… and often I am just very focussed on the overall structure and the properties, so to keep flipping my attention from structure to view all the time is a bit stressful!
A tip which may be useful: Ctrl + click a button attached to a modal to open that modal (probably Cmd click on a Mac).
Indeed ctrl+click on the open modal icon/link in design view will show you the modal and there you can select any sub elements from it and the App Structure will auto expand.
Other way is just to open the modal by selecting it in the App Structure and then again in design view select any sub element you want to design.

It would be very useful to have the “Expand All Children” function anyway, as I see the issue being much more than just with modals… it is about working rapidly with the overall app structure in an efficient way…

It would be helpful to have a quicker way to view hidden elements (non-modals) @George. Something like a toggle, maybe.
Quicker than ctrl+click on its opener icon?
Also if we have general “show all hidden elements” toggle - it might result in showing too much…
I have seen in other apps something like a wireframe view…
I’m thinking more along the lines of being able to choose to show or hide the element from the app structure element tree with a click.
