I am simply trying to create a button which when clicked shows a dynamic modal. In Wappler’s internal preview mode this works perfectly but nothing happens when I open the page in a browser.
Any ideas why this might happen?

I am using a local server so I cannot link to it. I tried uploading the HTML file but I guess that is not supported. Here is a screenshot from Wappler where the feature is working. In Google chrome I can see the button but nothing happens when clicked .
Do you see any errors in the browser console, when you click on the button?
Well, some files are missing on your server. Is everything uploaded there? How’s your website set up?
I am using the AMPPS mySQL server. To say I don’t know what I’m doing in regards to setting up a server would be an understatement. I’m not sure how I would go about checking whether I have all of the required files.
I am able to navigate to the site through localhost/(Folder I created in AMPPS)/index.html

Are your local files folder and the server folder the same?
I believe they are different. I’m guessing that’s why I don’t have the required files? The project is being saved to the file below which is different than the server:
Problem solved: It was what I guessed above. More generally the issue was that I didn’t understand how AMPPS works. For anyone else with this issue here is an amazing video:
