Ooh, that's interesting. It's hard to imagine a world without Dreamweaver but I've not launched my copy for a few years so I wouldn't be surprised to hear they are dropping it.
Alive but not perhaps well. I haven't had an Adobe subscription for a while, but I still receive the occasional email. I imagine Adobe has considerable resources, but it seems few of them are allocated to Dreamweaver. Nothing new there.
We are working on modernizing core APIs in Dreamweaver to ensure compatibility with latest OS versions. Considering the criticality of these changes and the work yet to be completed for Database and Server Behaviors, we are putting the DB and SB story on hold for now.
I started using Dreamweaver when it was still from Macromedia.
When it was transferred to Adobe, I kept using it, but then I went down other paths. I had a DMX extension at the time.
I came across Wappler very recently through a YouTuber video. But I didn't know that Wappler was part of the DMX zone.
I started using it and something caught my attention when I saw the prefix DMX in part of the source code; the name wasn't strange. I did some research on it. Only then did I learn that Wappler was part of the DMX zone.
But Adobe has a habit of buying some good stuff.
By any chance, didn't Adobe make an offer for Wappler? That's just speculation.
Long live Wappler, because Dreamweaver seems to RIP
