VISIT WEBSITE

This week we present you a responsive web site built by Andre Bender, known in our community as @swf (https://www.swf.ch/).
Here’s what he briefly explains about the site:

For a local government institute we’ve built a new responsive website providing information about their new media collection. The website has been fully created in Wappler and is maintained by our Content Management System which is also built in Wappler.

One of the more demanding tasks was the implementation of the filtering of the artists of an artwork. As each of the artworks can have more than one artist we had to filter the artwork categories with checkboxes and the artists names via the search text field in a nested repeat. The filter and search values are stored in a session so they are not lost when to user clicks on the back button of the browser but it’s cleared when the browser is being closed.

Keep up the good work, Andre!

Congrats @swf
Great work
Did you also implement the cookies feature with Wappler?

Thanks t11. Yes we used the cookie manager for this and placed the code into the footer.

Your welcome @swf
Regarding cookies you give te option to enable disable cookies. Does Wappler give this functionality.?Isn’t it something you created out of the box?

Thank you!

Well, this solution is only providing the infomation that the website uses GoogleAnalytics and FacebookPixel etc. So the user is not deactivating them.

We do have a solution for that but it required additional php code to be realized, beside Wappler implementation.

We’ll also introduce/show our CMS next year here in the community. Its quite complex and powerful, as it includes flexible registration processes (with newsletter singing), language support, auto-image resizing and deleting, cascading deletes, m-to-m relation support, sophisticated datatables with delete/update and filter functionalities and much more. It’s fully done in Wappler, rocket solid and very fast. And it can simply be cloned to be used in new projects.
