I voted no, which is strange as my best mate is a Weimaraner, and I pronounce that with a āVā and not a āWā

Not sure why I'd pronounce it as "Vappler", usually in my head I call it "Wap" "Ler"
Guess we need george to vote for a definitive answer.
I sometimes call it a name involving an insect and excrement when it plays up.

"Wappler" is pronounced like "What" is pronounced...
example:
Q: "What is the best low-code software?"
A: "Wappler"
Q: " What?"
A: " WAPPLER"

Just relistened to george in the wappler 2020 gathering.
George says "Wappler" with a "W" not a "V"
It's pronounced with a "W" 
However it's our old "internal / team" joke to call it like "Vappler" sometimes, which we find funny, because of its meaning in Austria, especially around Vienna.
We met some Austrian guys really enjoying Wappler's name on the conferences we visited the last few years.
